The other day, Alexander Duzhnikov (COO and co-founder of HOQU) visited Barcelona to take part in the Affiliate World Europe event. The AWE (this is just how gently we will be calling the event further on) lasted 2 days from July 8 to 9.
Those who are closely involved in affiliate marketing already know that the AWE is one of the largest and well-known events that unites affiliate marketers and e-commerce entrepreneurs. Let us add some details about the scale of the event: industry leaders, prominent speakers, the largest representatives of the industry— more than three thousand participants: 110+ Advertisers, 30+ Speakers, 35+ Traffic Sources, 150+ Affiliate Networks.
For HOQU, participation in AWE began on July 7, with a pre-party, where the participants could get to know each other in advance in a less formal setting (with a reduced degree of formality and a slight degree of alcohol).
Over the main two days of the event, Alexander’s main activity was networking, a lot of networking. More than 100 meetings were held. Meetups attended during the program: MOAR’s Chiringuito Club Party, Sunday Blackout, Affiliate After Hours, Ad Buyers Meetup, ClickDealer’s White Light Night.
HOQU is keeping track of affiliate marketing. The AWE is a great platform to keep track of all the coolest trends and create new and mutually beneficial partnerships.
